Cunyfirst Hunter is a single sign-on website that allows you to access campus resources and services. A Cunyfirst Hunter identifies a user uniquely and is a unique three to eight character alphanumeric identifier. This identifier is used to log in to the college network and various Hunter-supported systems. The CUNYfirst sign-on button is found under the Services tab of the Hunter website. Then, select the ‘New User’ link and answer a few questions about yourself and the system. Once the process is complete, you can designate an email address for password resets. You can use this email address on any device that can receive email messages.

This web-based system enables students to manage their academic careers in real-time and offers faculty and staff powerful processes and tools to support academic operations. PeopleSoft 9.2 Upgrade For Cunyfirst Hunter
The PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade for Cunyfirst Hunter will bring a number of benefits to CUNYfirst users, including a new user interface. It will also ensure continued vendor support for years to come. CUNYfirst will upgrade its HR, Financial, and Campus Solutions systems in two phases, beginning in December 2021.

Student email account
Once you’ve admitted to Hunter College, you will receive instructions on how to get start. These instructions will help you prepare for the semester ahead, including setting up a college email account. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to attend student events and connect with an advisor. You’ll also be able to register for classes and view your schedule.

CUNY SEEK program
The Search for Education, Elevation and Knowledge (SEEK) program designed to provide financial and academic support to low-income students who are pursuing a postsecondary education. Students can participate in SEEK if they meet certain requirements, including economic and academic ability. This program is available to students enrolled in CUNY senior and comprehensive colleges, and designed to help students from underserved communities achieve higher education goals.
The SEEK program offers a variety of services, including financial aid, supplemental instruction, and personal counseling. Students can apply for financial aid at any point during their college careers, and they can take advantage of early registration and supplemental instruction. The program also offers free tutoring in a variety of subjects.
