UWG Courseden is a web-based platform that allows students and instructors to connect and share resources. The system is accessible to registered UWG users with a valid NetID and password. Its primary purpose is to promote a more collaborative learning environment between instructors and students. It also promotes the dissemination of information about academic programs at the University. Courseden includes information on classes and their instructors, as well as resources for each class such as study guides and PowerPoint presentations.

Using UWG Courseden
When you first register for an online course, you will not have access to CourseDen until your first course begins. This process can take up to 24 hours. In the meantime, you can use the waffle icon to search for courses and pin them to your homepage. Once you’ve selected a course, however, you will not be able to enter it until the start date. However, you can find course information and view associated assignments on CourseDen.
Resources available on CourseDen
When you enroll in a UWG online course, you have access to the course’s resources through the CourseDen homepage. You can also access the resources within individual courses. Smarthinking is a free tool that helps students improve their writing skills, and it can be accessed through CourseDen’s interface. No special software is required to use Smarthinking, and faculty can also access it as a resource module in their CourseDen course.
