What is UELMS
UELMS is a consortium of leading European universities formed in 2006. Its purpose is to promote cooperation between member universities in research and teaching in the fields of library and information science.

UELMS Competitors
The University of Louisiana at Monroe Students’ Union (UELM) is a student-run organization that provides services and activities for students at the university. UELM has teams for every sport offered by the university, as well as a variety of other clubs and organizations. Members of UELM can found on campus in dorms, on various social media platforms, and at events held by the union.
UELMS offers several competitive sports teams for students to participate in. The most popular sport at ULM is football, which is play by both men’s and women’s teams. UELM also has basketball, volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, softball, track & field, and cross country teams available for students to join.
A large part of what makes UELMS such a great organization is its commitment to giving back to the community. The University of Edinburgh Medical School (UELM) is a world-leading medical school with a strong focus on teaching and research. It has awarded full accreditation by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (RCPE) and is recognised as one of Scotland’s leading medical schools.
In recent years, UELM has made significant progress in key metrics such as student satisfaction, research citations and international student recruitment. In 2018/19, 95% of students rated their overall experience at UELM as ‘good’ or ‘very good’, making it the second highest rating out of all Scottish medical schools. This high level of satisfaction is evident across all areas of study, with particular strengths in clinical training (95%) and research (92%).
Research output at UELM has also been increasing steadily over the past few years. In 2018/19, research outputs totalled 2,471 pages including peer-reviewed journal articles, conference papers and book chapters – an increase of over 50% since 2016/17.
