ControlNet:

This is a high-speed, deterministic networking protocol used by Rockwell Automation devices for connecting PLCs and other high-bandwidth devices in a control system.

For the real-time control and communication of industrial devices and equipment, PLC ControlNet is a high-speed industrial networking solution.

ControlNet uses a token-passing protocol to provide a reliable connection between devices at distances of up to 1000 meters and supports data speeds of up to 5 Mbps. Additionally, it makes it possible to connect a large number of devices to the network and provides multiple communication channels for increased reliability.
